Notes for Joseph HOLYOKE
• Some records lists his birth date as “20 Jul 1815”

• Joseph owned and operated a brickyard on State street in Brewer, Maine for many years … his was one of 17 brickyards in Brewer. Interesting, bricks were not only for building, but it was also in demand as ballast on ships.

• He and his brother, Robert were also partners in a lumber business.

• Joseph and his second wife Frances were charter members of the Pine Grove Grange (Nov 1877)
Notes for Eunice W. (Spouse 1)
• Possibly the sister to “Francis”, Joseph’s first wife.
Notes for Frances A. (Spouse 2)
• Also known as “Fannie”

• Other records lists her year of death as “1909”
