Notes for Sarah (Spouse 1)
• Decon John Eliot and Sarah were cousins.
• Apparently Sarah and John Eliot had two children, but no further is known. There is reference to a William Downes, of Boston, shop owner was "guardian of the children of John Eliot, deceased, with the consent of Thomas Dolbeare and his wife Sarah..." (1730)
• According to one source, Sarah died on 23 Sep 1751. However, I believe the HOLYOKE Diaries' account of 6 Sept 1755 is more relevant & accurate.
