• This Nicholas' parents were probably Mathias and Catherine (FRISCH) WALCH who remained in Luxembourg.
• Mathias Walch was a brother of Nicholas WALCH of Oak Ridge so this Nicholas is most likey a nephew of Nicholas and Clara (Kemp) WALCH.
• His brother “Julius Walch” likely accompanied him to the USA in about 1896, but Julius may have had to return to Luxembourg because of hearing problems and he couldn’t enter the US.
