• While her death certificate states her father was a “Henry Ballard” … Isabelle Ballard was the daughter of Johnson Larkin Ballard and Celia Jane Baxter according to her Marriage Certificate and Census Records.
• On April 23, 1904 … Mrs. George W. Resler (aka Isabella) filed suit in the circuit court for a divorce from her husband, George W Resler. They were married in Owen county, Ky., July 9, 1893, and she says Resler abandoned her April 12, 1902. They have four children.
