• Many records list Mary (Boutineau) Dumaresq as Anne’s mother, however that is very unlikey given Mary died in 1744 at the age of 55+ years old, which was almost two years before Anne was born.
• She is a descendant of the French Huguenots … The French Huguenots were French Protestants that were followers of John Calvin and they faced severe persecution from the 16th to the 18th centuries.
