• Some records lists her last name as Taylor … Margaret was born Atwood … her stepfather was named Taylor.

• Surname has also been recorded as “Holliocke, Holiocke and Holyocke.”
• No children or grandchildren were mentioned in his will of 2 September 1591, seven years before his death.
• He does mention a Godchild “Edward Fewster” in his will.
• Edward's will provided his wife Margaret with a lifetime use of his properties if she did not remarry. Upon her death, or remarriage, the properties passed on to "Edward Holiocke, son of my kinsman John Holiocke."
